Items 'of <school> magic' (e.g. ring of fire magic, amulet of dark magic) add +50% to the matching magic skill. Originally cumulative across multiple items, but the source notes that in the latest game version rings of magic are no longer cumulative per character. Obtainable at Abdul's for trade.

Late-game energy weapons that use the unique 1-Hand Blaster skill — they ignore armor and never miss. Found only in the end-game Hive / control-center areas.
